    There are 1.8 billion young people around the world - the last generation that can prevent climate change. This event will feature the work of young innovators and the investments needed to ensure the entire generation is empowered to contribute to a sustainable, healthy and resilient future.

    Facilitated panel discussion; exchange with audience composed of climate negotiators and other delegates Speaking slot confirmed for ILO Director-General. Other panellists expected to be Head of UNFPA; two youth representatives, and two government ministers.

    OBJECTIVE:

    Demonstrate that young people have the full potential to bring innovations, solutions and possess entrepreneurial skills for adaptation and resilience to climate change.
