Course on Women’s Entrepreneurship Development from 14–18 December 2015, ITC-ILO Turin (Italy)

ITC ILO, 13 Oct 2015 - The International Training Centre of the ILO is pleased to announce a new course.

 

This course provides policy-makers and development practitioners with practical guidance on how to design and implement an integrated approach to women’s entrepreneurship promotion, addressing both policy and practical aspects. Participants will get acquainted with a range of tools to assess and improve the enabling environment, build the capacity of women’s entrepreneurs associations and integrate gender equality in value chain development and business training.

The course is designed for people working in the areas of employment strategies, business development, active labour market policies, gender equality, local and rural development. It addresses a mixed audience of development actors including senior government officials, representatives of workers´ and employers’ organizations, programme managers and staff of civil society organizations.

The course is offered in English.

The participation costs are € 2100, covering tuition fees, training material, study visits, medical, insurance, board and lodging at the Turin Campus. Travel costs are not included.
