Singapore pledges to peak emissions by 2030.

Eco-Business, 08 Jul 2015 - The Singapore government has pledged to reduce its emissions intensity by 36 per cent from 2005 levels by 2030. Although this still spells an absolute rise in emissions, the pledge will see emissions peak by 2030, following in China's footsteps.

Reuters, 30 Jun 2015 - A solar-powered plane took off from Japan on Monday on the seventh leg of its journey round the world, a trans-Pacific crossing expected to be the toughest part of the trip.

Singapore to produce electricity from water sludge, food waste

Bernama, 22 Jun 2015 - PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, and Anaergia Pte Ltd (Anaergia) announced on Friday the commencement of Singapore’s first project aimed at producing more biogas for electricity generation by co-digesting used water sludge and food waste.
