This paper identifies how skills policy can contribute to a new set of policies directed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. It examines how skills policy could facilitate and enable the NSW economy to adjust to climate change policies. Commissioned by the NSW Board of Vocational Education and Training, it focuses on the role of education and training in the shift to a more sustainable mode of business development.
