Green Jobs Foundation Training in Malaysia (Putrajaya, July 2012)
The ILO and the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources (MoHR) in Malaysia have been implementing the Green Jobs Malaysia project. The initiative aims to develop analytical capacity for the ILO constituents in Malaysia to assess the economic and employment impacts of a green development strategy through the development of green jobs mapping study and a new analytical modelling tool (GreenDySAM). The ‘Green Jobs Foundation Training Workshop’ was held by KeTTHA in collaboration with MOHR, Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (MGTC) and ILO during 16-17 July 2012 in Putrajaya, Malaysia to disseminate the knowledge and information with regards to the development of green jobs in Malaysia.
